Kids Say the Darndest Things

Scenario: Just this afternoon. Me reviewing a Grade 1 kid their past lessons in religion. The specific lesson was parts of the body & their uses. Ayon nga sa kanilang libro, ang katawan natin ay biyaya ng Diyos. Amen.

Me: So what part of your body do you use to hug your friends?
Kid: Arms... and hands!
Me: Good! And, what body part is used in loving?
Kid: (Semi-pause) Mind...
Me: VERY GOOD! Now, we move on to the next lesson!
